I don't really know of any other companies that are doing what MVIV is doing and if they get big enough it's possible they get bought out by a larger company like Google.
Last week Microsoft made a $45 Billion dollar bid for Yahoo just to compete again Google.
MVIV came off it's 52wk low and if it was to ever test recent highs again of $1.50, that would mean possible gains of 400%. Do your own research the future is unknown.
