Article: More on WAVU
Make sure it's on your watch list!
WAVU knows that now is the time to really pay attention to uranium.
In 2007, uranium overall gained 28% for the year!
Many analysts have predicted that prices will still go higher!!
WAVU knows that this is a soaring sector.
Uranium at one point several years ago was under $10 and has since hit over $100!
WAVU is actively acquiring claims in many of the most prolific mining areas for Uranium in North America.
WAVU has a team of geologists and directors with proven track records in exploration and mining programs as well as accessing global capital markets.
Alternative fuels are better for the environment which is why I strongly believe uranium deserves even more attention than it is getting.
But why uranium?
WAVU realizes that uranium is very beneficial to nuclear plants.
Since nuclear power is the cleanest form of energy available, it can be expected to play a growing role in helping nations achieve their emission reduction targets.
Power plants that consume fossil fuels account for 40% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions.
Currently, the U.S gets 20% of its electricity from nuclear power with 103 commercial nuclear reactors operating in 31 states.
There is a big market for WAVU and uranium right here in the states.
The concerns of global warming are a good reason to look towards uranium and not fossil fuels.
The greenhouse gas emissions that power plants create affects us immensely!
WAVU understands that carbon-emitting fossil fuels are very bad for our environment and cause global warming.
Global warming causes our sea levels to rise which increases the intensity of extreme weather. The dangers of global warming will affect glacier retreats, species extinctions, and will increase diseases!
Many don't know that uranium is the fuel used by nuclear reactors to generate 18% of the world's electricity!
WAVU sees the strong demand coming from Asia and hopes to profit on it.
There will be 40 new nuclear reactors being built and/or in the planning stages by 2015 in China and 31 new nuclear reactors being built and/or in the planning stages by 2020 in India!!
WAVU recently announced the registration of 1327 claims in an area encompassing about 43 square miles; representing more than 27,000 acres.
This area is located in the inter-river area of western Grand County Utah, just east of the Green River and north of Canyonlands National Park. The claims group comprises virtually the entire Mineral Canyon mining district, exclusive of land within the Labyrinth Canyon Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) that lies to the west. Mineral entry is unrestricted in the claims group.
There are numerous uranium mines and prospects within and adjacent to the claims group that indicate widespread uranium enrichment, according to published data from the Utah Geological Survey and U.S. Department of Energy; however there are no production statistics available at this time.
WAVU is well financed and led by a proven management team and is in a perfect position to capitalize on this opportunity.
The overarching objectives of WAVU are to acquire land positions in areas of significant uranium resource potential by a systematic and rational screening process, then explore and develop those properties to produce uranium ore.
WAVU is one to look at considering that the long term outlook for uranium is so positive!
